1. Ownership of Copyright

 

All artwork, imagery, and content featured on this website (johanan.studio) are the exclusive intellectual property of Aimee Johanan (Johanan Studio).

Copyright is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws. The purchase of a physical print or original artwork does not transfer copyright or any reproduction rights to the purchaser. All rights are reserved by the artist.




2. Permitted Use (Personal Use Only)

 

When you purchase a print from Johanan Studio, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for Personal Use only. This means:

  • You may display the artwork in your home or private office.

  • You may give the physical artwork as a gift.

  • The artwork may not be reproduced, scanned, or duplicated in any form without express written permission from Aimee Johanan.




3. Prohibited Commercial Use

 

Commercial use of any Johanan Studio imagery is strictly prohibited without a separate written agreement. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Reselling the artwork for profit.

  • Using the artwork in commercial advertising, branding, or digital marketing.

  • Printing the artwork on products for sale (e.g., apparel, stationery, or home goods).

  • Using the artwork as a backdrop for commercial photography or film without a licensing agreement.




4. Social Media & Digital Sharing

 

I love seeing my work in your sanctuary. You are welcome to share photos of your Johanan Studio prints on social media, provided that:

  • The artist is clearly credited (@johanan.studio).

  • The image is not used to promote a third-party product or service.

  • The image is not altered or filtered in a way that misrepresents the original work.




5. Licensing & Trade Enquiries

 

While I am not currently accepting private commissions, I welcome enquiries from interior designers, architects, and brands regarding commercial licensing of existing imagery or trade accounts for large-scale projects.

6. Infringement & Protection

 

Johanan Studio actively monitors for unauthorised use of its intellectual property. Any unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation will be considered a breach of copyright and may result in legal action.
