Printing matters

Giclée printing is the gold standard of fine art reproduction. It gives the greatest colour accuracy, depth and richness to the art print. When it comes to paintings, the end result is almost indistinguishable from the original artwork.

The process uses a type of archival ink which ensures the longevity of your print. Your prints won’t fade in normal household lighting conditions. Instead, they will retain their brilliance for 100+ years.

Paper matters

My trusted printer uses the world's first digital fine art paper made from bamboo fibres.

The paper is crafted by one of the oldest art paper companies in the world. Mixing formulations and techniques that are centuries old, originally born in traditional paper mills, with modern digital printing requirements.

Bamboo represents naturalness and resource-saving paper production. This Hahnemühle Bamboo paper is made from 90% Bamboo fibres and 10% cotton, allowing the highest quality with environmental friendliness.

This natural matte, warm-toned, smooth surfaced art paper offers maximum ageing resistance, meaning your print will last a lifetime.

The inspiration

One of my happiest memories takes me back to my mother’s garden. At 2 years old I already was madly in love with life.

Running from vibrant flower to flower, I’d sing to them constantly; Aimee in Wonderland with her flower friends.

Giant fragrant cabbage roses glowing with intense sunset oranges and corals peered down at me. Hot pink heart drops, swaying like happy garlands. Persimmon orange tulips standing with proud posture.

White roses painted with beetroot streaks conversed with stout, blooming apple and pear trees.

I'd pluck a velvety wine red petal, and enjoy the magic of it. Colour that enlivens you, with mysterious liquid depths you could almost dive into headfirst.

Bees bounced from violet to lavender carrying sacks of pollen in golden honey hues.

In the presence of these vibrant flowers I felt alive, awe, energised by their beauty.

And when I reflect back and ask the lesson I was meant to learn, it's this:

Your true nature is pure joy and appreciation of life, finding pleasure in this moment. You can have that in any moment. Cultivate it and claim it.

Why I paint these colours

And as with all of my art, I want remind you that you are made of the same powerful ingredients and infinite creativity as all of nature. It's in you, it is you.

In the presence of nature, you are loved. You grow and bloom at the perfect pace for you.

And just like all of nature, you deserve rest, nutrients, water, sunlight, space to expand. To observe your own rhythms and seasons. To be.

You deserve to feel alive.

And when you need a boost, remember the healing power of flowers!
