Printing matters

Giclée printing is the gold standard of fine art reproduction. It gives the greatest colour accuracy, depth and richness to the art print. When it comes to paintings, the end result is almost indistinguishable from the original artwork.

The process uses a type of archival ink which ensures the longevity of your print. Your prints won’t fade in normal household lighting conditions. Instead, they will retain their brilliance for 100+ years.

Paper matters

My trusted printer uses the world's first digital fine art paper made from bamboo fibres.

The paper is crafted by one of the oldest art paper companies in the world. Mixing formulations and techniques that are centuries old, originally born in traditional paper mills, with modern digital printing requirements.

Bamboo represents naturalness and resource-saving paper production. This Hahnemühle Bamboo paper is made from 90% Bamboo fibres and 10% cotton, allowing the highest quality with environmental friendliness.

This natural matte, warm-toned, smooth surfaced art paper offers maximum ageing resistance, meaning your print will last a lifetime.

The inspiration

A couple of times, my partner managed to coax me out of bed at the crack of dawn (no small feat… I am a lifelong night owl) to drive up the winding mountain roads of his hometown in the north of Italy.

On the way, we popped into the local bakery. This was a peace-offering I think, for my grumpy, discombobulated morning mood. Of course the bakers had been crafting fresh breads and pastries for hours before we stopped by. And the sweet scent of crumbly, flakey, baked beauties picked me right up!

Andiamo! Up the mountain we go!

With a warm, buttery pastry in pocket, we welcomed in the new day. Sitting in awe of the most spectacular show on Earth.

This artwork is inspired by the changing, fiery colours of that horizon. As the sky shifted from midnight to milky lavender, to blood orange and warm corals.

Why I paint these colours

I want this palette and all my art to remind you that you are made of the same powerful ingredients and infinite creativity as all of nature. It's in you, it is you

In the presence of nature, you are perfect. You grow and bloom at the perfect pace for you.

Just like all of nature, you deserve rest, nutrients, water, sunlight, space to expand. To just be.

I want these paintings to be a reminder that you deserve all of this and more. You deserve to feel alive!

And when you need a reminder, there’s nothing like catching the magical colours of dawn or dusk. Look far off into the horizon and remember you’re that powerful.
